In 1940 the Finns built a series of 10 PR-40 aerosans (propeller powered armoured sleds) powered by Napier Lion engines.
Did the Finns have any Napier Lion engined aircraft which could have provided these engines once the airframes had been withdrawn from service – or were Napier Lions also produced for marine use perhaps?
Could there be any other source for these engines at this stage of the war?
