There were 3 in Australia until last year, when one returned to New Zealand. It is operated by Brendon Deere, who also has one of the Kiwi Spitfires.

The RNZAF operated them in the Pacific, although the flying one recently repainted as ‘Plonky’ wasn’t one of them (I should see it back in NZ colours for the first time in a few weeks :-). There are non-flying ex-RNZAF examples at the RNZAF Museum, Wigram (Christchurch), and MOTAT (Auckland).
Good to see the Plane Crazy Down Under announcers/podcasters there.

Some interesting shots there Daniel. I didn’t realise you had an Avenger “down under” Who operates it? There didn’t seem to be any representation from HARS. I have a mate who flies the Drover and they usually get to these events.
