THE Queen swore at a police constable patrolling the gardens of Buckingham Palace armed with a pistol of the kind used by diplomatic protection officers, it was reported yesterday.
“You can take that bloody thing away,” the Queen told the officer, when she saw his MP5 Heckler and Koch.
The report in the Sun, which has good contacts in the palace, said the incident happened after the royals returned to London from their winter break at Sandringham.
The Queen was unimpressed at the beefed-up security at the palace, decided in her absence.
The Queen is normally careful with her choice of words in public, although Prince Philip is known for riper language.
Police chiefs were reported to have ordered members of Scotland Yard’s royalty and diplomatic protection squad to be less visible in future.

Ah – but McDonalds want domination and a tidy profit too. The British Empire would never have agreed to that…

She is also a great asset to our tourism industry too. The number of people that come over to see Buckingham Palace in the hope of seeing “The Queen of England” is quite immense.
Try going up there once in a while and see how close you can get without a Japanese tourist barging you out of the way

Yeah, sure Steve. Whatever.
Would you spend all year cutting ribbons, shaking hands with ponces and chatting to boring tossers? Would you go and meet all the filthy flea-bitten scumbags that she has to? Would you spend all night watching the Royal Variety Performance? And all the time be under intense public scrutiny? **** that – thats way harder than my job. Get real.
ps – the Sun is less accurate than the Beano in terms of news.

Sorry to disapoint you Steve but the Queen worked her fair share of unsociable hours during WWII as an army ambulance driver in London

Hey you Ozzies, it’s still your queen. I can understand she’s upset, but that officer is justb following his orders, not? As a head of state, she should have known that.
