Must admit I hadn’t realised that the power was split into two shafts at the engine end, what could possibly go wrong! Thanks:)

I saw that afterwards, great shot of it above mind Simon.
You may know, but the P-75 used the main wing panels of a P-40, tail of a Dauntless, and the undercarriage from the Corsair, though the flying surfaces were later modified and a P-47 bubble canopy added. The mid mounted 24 cylinder V-3420 engine drove the contra-props forward, kind of puts the Wyvern to shame!

ZRX61 when you say it is ‘Your’ Spitfire do you own it?
Pagen if you look at Part 1 there is a full size shot of the P-75, it is stunning, you have to see the transmission as the engine was mounted at the back!
Sea Fury Fan – Thanks for the kind comments there are lots more I will sort through them and post later

If it’s the first shot, it looks like the Fisher P-75 Eagle, I hadn’t realised that it was preserved if it is!
Cracking pics, you seem to have really cracked museum shots, very nice to see British types in American service colours.

Great to see these photos Pully, especially for the majority of us who will never get to Dayton. Judge the popularity of your threads by the views, not the replies – and keep ’em coming please!
