Nato Standard Camouflage, what is this?

I heard from a Italian Air Force retired officer that their C-130H wore “Standard Nato Camouflages”… I always thought that chosing colour schemes for its own aircraft was up to an individual Air Force. Is this not true for Nato countries? If not who sets up these standads inside Nato?

Is there any comprehensive information on the web on this subject?
