NATO's next enemy?

Who is NATO going to have to defend Europe from next? As history has shown us, when one enemy is defeated or disintigrates, another appears to take it’s place. Who will it be? In WW2 it was the Nazis (granted NATO didn’t exist then, but still…), after that, it was the Soviets and the Pact. They are gone. Who now? I’m curious to hear about who you guys think is NATO’s (or the west if you will) next enemy.

I personally am taking China, and the Islamic countries (save secular Turkey of course). I forsee a repeat of Iran 1979 all over again in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and alot of the rest of the pro-western countries in the Mid East. Hell, Egypt has been under emergency law since 1997 anyways because of the Islamic fundamentalists. Saudi Arabia is also under growing pressure. In short, is the U.S’s policy on equiping these shaky countries with advanced aircraft (UAE F-16 Block 60’s, Saudi Arabia F-15S’s) and systems a sound one? Could this policy spell a new war for NATO? I think it might……
