Has there ever been a Gun Nosed F-4 Phantom in the US Navy/RAF?
If not, Why?
The USN should have adopted them since they were fighting North Vietnamese Migs, They were also in desperate need when they ran out of missile supply. I guess thats how the E variant came out but why didnt the USN/RAF/FAA adopt them?.
Would they still be carrier capable?.

No, because the original USN Phantom II was designed as an all-missile interceptor. The USAF wanted the internal gun, so they developed the F-4E. The F-4E and German F-4F are the only Phantoms with internal guns. None of them ever served with the USN or RAF/RN.
