Naval UAVs

Well, I suppose it’s inevitable and already under development… It also gives a huge potential! In the other thread you mention there has to be a hangar too, yes of course, but it can be much smaller or in the other case, accomodate much more UAVs.
There’s also a huge potential for UAVs launched from submarines! I think they are at the moment thinking about developing such things, to launch them from the torpedo tubes. That would give them a much greater range for finding targets, although I don’t know how they would communicate with the sub, without bringing the sub in danger. Maybe by the floating comms buoys….
