” Sea Fury Flies!
A massively successful day for us all here at Weald Aviation as we saw all our hard work over the last 3 years pay off. The Navy Wings Sea Fury T.20 performed beautifully during her first flight since the landing incident at RNAS Culdrose. Next up is more test flights to ensure that everything is operating as it should be, and before long she’ll be safely back in her hangar at Yeovilton.
They say a picture paints a thousand words, and by the look on one very happy pilots face, I’d say they’re probably right.

Info. on their website and Facebook says that the sea Fury is due to return to RNAS Yeovilton at midday 15/9, presumably flying from North Weald. Weather and a/c serviceability permitting. Here’s a link –
