Mike, Where abouts do you work on Canal Road? I am literally a 10 minute walk away from Canal Road. Do you know Bolton Road? I just live off of there. So many Bradfordians on here!

… and another Bradfordian – we had real probs yesterday morning when the IOM shut on us – but they forgot to tell anybody! It was only after we rang our people over there who said it was snowing heavily that we rang ATC to see the state of play, – oh yea the runway is covered with a couple of inches but we aren’t offically snow closed yet was the response  Quick calls to Eastern, FlyBE and Keenair followed warning then not to launch anything there until somebody made their mind up on fraggle.

Anyway we managed to get both aircraft diverting back to LPL via Manchester air traffic. By the time i left it wasn’t going to open until 12 noon, BFS was also getting it bad yesterday morning, don’t know what happened later in the day tho.

Hi Graham yes i think you count as a Bradfordian with your postcode sounds like you had lots of time to look for snow while you was in the traffic jam from Bingley
clouding over again in Bradford so maybe it will snow for teatime and if we get a inch traffic will be gridlocked because of the snow

Mike

I’v a Bradfordian postcode…. Do I count ? You may not be able to see the snow on Canal Road due to the large amount of cars jammed on it !!! I’v had to pop into Bfd this morning and was snarled up from Bingley…

Its melting fast because of the time of year, its March in a couple of days and the sun is high in the sky. Nothing to do with global warming. 🙂

If it snows heavily in Dundee on Saturday night/Sunday morning I’ll be a very happy chappie.

andrewm, the sheep take a good look, before they try and find some grass in that snow. The window used to be full of Stickers, but the Delta one is the best, and it won’t come off anyway!

In Wales, we have had 8 inches of snow, and this is our 2nd day off! LPL is closed, while MAN has 5mm.
There is a pic of my garden there
