This can only be a Packard Merlin 28 (Lanc, Hurricane, P40) or a V-1650-1 (P40)
There are several clues, but the giveaway is the coolant transfer arrangement between head and skirt, which is an interim Packard design prior to adopting the Rolls-Royce two-piece block design.
Probability says it`s Lanc!

The plates are all from a BTH magneto which appears to have been built under licence. The engine is a Merlin.
