All,
This is my first post so be gentle!
I have two raw FDR data files from a 757-200; they are both from the same black box and are:
1x .fdr file (appr. 25MB)
1x .tsc file (appr. 52MB)
I`m trying to get them decoded into human readable format. Since I`m a private individual at University and not working in the industry; it’s difficult.
If anyone knows who could help or at least who I can PAY to get conversions done it would be SO appreciated you wouldn’t imagine!
I have a parcial decode from the NTSB in the States but its only of a small part of the data and does not include radar altitude (which is what I`m really looking for).
Your help appreciated.

Mod,
Indeed the prior cases I refer to do not origionate from anyone in or connected to this forum.
With regards to the statement you made last asking me to be “careful what I wish for…:diablo: ” I will accept that this was intended humourously. Although I would query the wording.
Hope this clears up any misunderstanding; thanks for clarifying the situation.

Snowgrouch,
Your last posting could be interpreted as meaning that I have made threats against you on more than one occasion.
I’d like you to make it unambiguously clear that this is not, and never has been, the case.
Thank you

Hmmm
Well Gray Area,
I`m not quite sure what your trying to say there.
If its another veiled threat dont bother, I`ve had so many the last 6 months and I`m still quite alive…they`re now getting very boring by this juncture *yawn*.
Nevertheless assuming you intend to behave sensibly I look forward to meeting you.
Cheerio

I`m just trying to find out what happened.
If anyone can assist with the issues layed out in the film I`d love to hear from you.
I will be lecturing in London on this with engineer Gordon Ross on the 8th June at 7pm at the Indian YMCA, Fitzroy Square, London.
Feel free to come and heckle.

Got the files decoded with AVSCAN,
See my public lecture on the contents of flight 77`s data recorder here:http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=558348710883993755&q=calum+douglas
Warning, this is a 90 minute video with great intro music, ‘Open up your eyes…’ very apt!

It would appear not all as it would seem with snowygrouch:
Calum Douglas is an engineering student at Oxford Brookes University. An active 911 Truth researcher and lecturer, he is working with pilotsfor911truth.org. In a recent breakthrough using the ‘Freedom of Information’ act he has gained access to raw Black Box data from the flight recorder of Flight 77, that allegedly struck the Pentagon. It has subsequently been decoded and analysed. Here Calum presents his findings

Black Box
All,
I dont have the ACTUAL black box just two data files provided under the Freedom of Information Act (all quite legally I assure you!) from the NTSB in Washington DC.
The accident involved is probably one of the most controvercial ever. Its the raw data dump from Flight77 that hit the Pentagon.
I have an FDR animation from the NTSB but there are two big problems with it; hence I`m trying to get a decode from the origional data to see what on earth is going on.

PS: Attached is the last frame from F77s animation from teh NTSB

Snowy, what’s the project and where are you based?
By: tenthije - 22nd October 2006 at 16:58
I’m not convinced it is even legal to have a black box! How did you get your hands on it? Surely not e-Bay?
