Need ID on this part. Aircraft carburetor?

Good day all,

I need to identify this part, it is suppose to be from an aircraft but I’m at a loss where to start. At first glance, I thought it might be a carburetor but I think there’s more to it than that.

Are those Rolls-Royce markings?

Nice find.. that is the casting for the Boost control on the upper rear end of the merlin engine
