Netherthorpe

Hi,

A busy weekend for me started with a quick stop at Netherthorpe on Saturday afternoon.

I was surprised with how busy it was, in view of the blustery conditions. G-AVUG looked like it was headed for a perfect touchdown though:-

It isn’t everyday that you see a tailwheel 150:-

G-BMUD seemed to be losing its battle with the undergrowth:-

It wasn’t all Cessnas, with PA-28 G-BUXX representing Piper:-

I hope the photos are of interest :- a few more can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/

It does look nice 🙂
I’m hoping to get a pic of the Beech 18 at Cranfield tomorrow. I bet it taxies past my office before I get time to go out and get a photo.

Thanks very much – it is a friendly little field and well worth a stop if you are in the area
