New addition due at Hendon? Chipmunk moving?

Richard Willshire owns WP833 (the other “around the world” Chipmunk), based at Chino in California.

Isn’t the RAFM example one of those that did the (abandoned) Round the World Flight attempt? hence the GPS

Edit – just checked and it was, had forgotten they had made it at a second attempt.

GPS = Gopher Positioning System. Very rare these days.

That makes sense, the RAFM website shows it owned by Richard Wilsher.

I believe it was on something like a 10-year loan from the owner. Perhaps it has now come to the end of its loan period?
