New Air Sea Rescue location.

I was talking to a chap I know a couple of weeks ago, about the future location of the ASR helicopters, when
the service goes private. He is a civilian contractor working on the Sea Kings at Wattisham.

He was saying that given what is happening at Manston, it is most likely the service will be based at Southend.

Anyone else heard anything ?
