Air Atlas, not a bad c/s.

Not very keen on this c/s, although it is nice to see that the 732 is still operating in some parts of the world. 🙂

RE: New airlines.

The 737-200 is still seen all over the world,it is still a very popular and practical aircraft for airlines (Ryanir,Delta,Alaska Airlines etc),therefore it is not really segregated to certain parts of the world.
It is a common aircraft used in low cost start ups,an example being Island Air Jersey who shall hopefully use an EAL 732.

Anyway, thanks for the info on the new airlines :7

RE: New airlines.

Not a new airline…but one which I don’t recall being mentioned before.

I flew on them one from JNB to NLA on a 727-100, about 2 years ago. Different aircraft to the one on the picture which was damaged beyond economic repair, according to airliners.net

I believe they lease aircraft from Comair, which is a BA franchise in South Africa flying 727’s and 732’s. Their NLA run is now threatened, because SAA compete with them using an ERJ-145. Way more economic than a 727! This was all last year, so they may have pulled out by now.
