New Attack Helicopters..

first off is the Korean attack helicopter which they plan to be in service by 2008. The helicopter looks very similar to the Tiger (but with a longer “snout”. looks like it could be using alot of off the shelf type equipment from the US much like the A/T-50.

The next is the Indian attack helicopter, which also has a “step” tandem seating cockpit, the rear end of the helicopter resembles the ALH.

There is the chinese WZ-10, there is several conceptual drawings out there on the net..none of which look anything like each other, this one is still a mystery.

Kazan also has a new helicopter the Aktai I think it was called.. it’s a light weight one with stepped tandem seating and powered by an American engine.

The Japanese also have their own attack helicopter design that has a “fenstrom?” type rotor (commonly found in Eurocopter designs and the Ka-60), however since Japan ordered the bigger and heavier Apache, what will happen to the future of this helicopter?
