This is interesting…
Apparently, old friends & allies, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia & Montenegro have agreed to launch a new Balkan regional airline.
This airline will be modelled on Scandinavian SAS and will only connect cities and towns of these countries and will not have any international flights, so as not to endanger the national airlines of these countries.
Talks are to follow with Croatia, Bosnia, Albania and Macedonia.
The main “base” will be the new Sofia Airport and Serbia & Montenegro will provide the airplanes.
More details soon.
