The greenish colour is primer (except for composites parts). If they want a metallic looking scheme, either they’ll strip it, ans put a clear varnish, or they paint a metallic looking colour.

Is the bare metal still possible? I tought the new materials are greenish. AA have a 757 painted in the 60ies livery.

Good news.
I wish they will spawn a nice c/s.
I doubt it. Count on that awful light blue. Lots of colorful schemes have disappeared in the past years, everything gets uniform again. Now they should think to let the bottom of their planes in bare metal, the top in white, and ass a single color line across the fuselage, like in the 1970’s… Dull.

A new airline is born

TUI Airlines Belgium will fly 800.000 holidaytravelles anually for Jetair. The new airline is for 100% Belgian.
They employed more than 300 people, which includes more or less half of the employees of the bankrupt Sobelair.
TUI will fly with six own aircraft and not with two, like previously announced. Five Boeing 737’s (2x 738, 2x 734, 1x 733) will fly to the area around the Mediterannean sea. A sixth 763 will fly to destinations in the Carribean area. Three aircraft will be leased during the peak summer period, owned by a Spanish charter airline.

about the livery… I think it’s gonna be the basic lightblue TUI livery!

So this will probably be the new Sobelair? Will they be using former Sobelair aircraft?
