New build gen 4.5 fighters for USAF

The thread talking about the Superhornet upgrades got me thinking not about capability or metrics, but the better question is what would be the best option for the USAF if they decided to buy some new build Gen 4.5 fighters

this is just my opinion so feel free to put some additional impute in

-F-15 SE
most expensive option but provides the most capability, However maybe too much capability for a bomb truck and air defense missions over the US.

-F-16 Block 60/72 (or what ever the UAE’s are)
already developed and successful multi-role fighter. Advanced AESA radar and some stealth features.

-F/A-18 E+ and F+
comparable upgrades to the UAE F-16’s and back fitting of some F-35 technology specifically the sensor fusion and networked capabilities.
In my view the best option sense Boeing said they can offer them for 49 million dollars apiece. Also the best option in my view sence the Navy is still procuring E/A-18Gs so industrial support will be around longer then the other two aircraft.
