new build MiG-29SMTs???

Hello there! I’m a long time reader but first time poster…but as an observer of Russian arms industry and its exports, I’m confused by the status of MiG-29SMT sales. Are all these MiGs going to Yemen, Algeria and possibly Egypt new build, factory fresh Fulcrums or merely older off the shelf MiG-29s from Russia or customer nations being upgraded to the SMT standard??? It seems to me that the baseline SMT MiG would be an excellent cheaper, new build alternative to the more expensive MiG-35 for potential Fulcrum buyers…
