New Carriers at BHX

Hey folks,

Wondered if anyone has any updates on our two new proposed carriers at BHX, Midland Airways and Flyblu (or Bluarrow)?

I saw a pic of the new Midland Airways B767 floating around somewhere in all white livery a while ago, but nothing since. The midlandairways.com website doesn’t appear to have changed much although there are real people on the end of the phones there. I think they were rumoured to be doing some indian sub-continent and former CIS countries if I’m not mistaken?

As for Flyblu, not sure whats happened there. The flyblu.com website appears to have gone back in time! Looks worse than ever. They delayed the launch again and ditched the idea of this year altogether, now praying for next Summer I hear. Not seen anything of an aircraft or licence for them. Same woman on the phone whichever department you call for them. Anyone heard different?

Would be nice to see some new blood at BHX after loosing duo. Somehow, I think we’ll probably only see one of the above in the near future though.
