On the China Daily 21 June edition front page it was officially annouced that a new jet will enter full production next year. The jet name is “Mountain Eagle” produced by the Guizhou Aviation Industry Corp.
The article says that it can be used both as trainer and fighter, looking like the FC-1. In China it will be used to train new pilots on the third generation fighters which means SU-27, SU-30 and J-10.
Anybody has heard from it??
