Dumfries & Galloway Aviation Museum are running the first dedicated cockpit event in Scotland in April.
Lots of great exhibits confirmed already with more on the way, but if you would like to exhibit please PM me – we have plenty of room for more entries.

Clearly most of you visited on the Saturday. I had to lighten up the photographs taken on the Sunday during the rain. It was still most enjoyable and at only 2 hours away able to be visited in a day.

Bit late on this one but I really want to congratulate the team on a thoroughly enjoyable event. A special thank you must go to Bob for allowing privileged access to the Master display so various measurements could be taken, they have already proved useful.
It was also very pleasant to meet some forum members and bask in the sunshine!
Looking forward to next year and if you get chance please visit this little gem of a museum.
Kind regards,
Tim

Very interesting museum to visit if you are up/down in SW Scotland – the guys have been putting in a lot of work and have built a couple of extra display bldgs (with another to come I believe),thanks for hosting this cockpit event – most enjoyable and always nice to meet up with some forum members.

Would like to add our thanks too. So good to have an event of this kind in Scotland. Looks like the weather wasn’t so good on Sunday but Saturday was glorious (it was probably our summer!) We were even treated to a couple of fly-bys by Apaches currently on exercise up here. Nice to meet some other forum members too 🙂

Thanks Mothminor – we’ve talked about if for ages, and there is already lots of support for it. Will you make it down?

Nice to see a new event on Scotland’s aviation calendar. Well done on organising this!

It is great news! Bit too late notice for me, but hopefully it will be a regular fixture. My hope is to take a cockpit to CockpitFest USA. So a trip up to you first would be a good stepping stone!

It’s taken a while Brian!
