New colours and logo for České aerolinie/Czech Airlines

I don’t like it..its very geomatrical.

in the end actually it looks like that there is Czech colours, standard red, blue and white, but….

Seen worse re-makes (Spirit, off hand). But hey, I’m sure they spent a lot of time and money researching (perhaps including a national customer opinion) a rebranding that would be both up-to-date and stylish whilst still reflecting the countries identity, no? :rolleyes:

It look like it has been put together with very little thought. I am trying to work out the meaning of the shapes on the tail – is there even one?

I will stick my initial thoughts. It is awful.

Looks better then expected. But the logo does remind me of something else. It looks a lot like the Smint logo as well as a sports logo I can’t quite seem to remember the name of.

As I find so often, a drawing done in MS Paint of a new livery never does the actual livery justice. I think it looks really very good indeed (on the 737 atleast – not sure how it will look on an A320).

Well i have to say i wasnt sure at first, but i have to say. Its not too bad! I wont mind seeing that around. Yeah its bland, but its modern.

Looks a tad boring to me.

That said there are far worse out there.

I certainly didn’t like them on first viewing in the other thread but it doesn’t look half bad! new lease of life look for the 737s I think :cool:.

Shame the logojet had to go though! it’s had it’s run, been around for ages now.

four types of livery around 1992 (commies have restricted using of “OK jet”, so some ČSA jet planes had “OK ČSA” since 1988, because “jet” is capitalistic English word 😉

I like ČSA´s “blue age”, but already old style…

Agree with most others and say the old livery is better than the new one, although the transition isn’t quite as bad as Spirit! The new CSA livery looks unfinished to me. Maybe with the ‘CSA’ in the ‘shape’ on the tail as it is on the fuselage would look better! Even if it’s ‘cut-off’ to an extent.

That picture of it in real life looks “nice” (not awful) but I still prefer old colours. Compared to some other schemes (old bmi) the old CSA scheme is refreshing enough.

National company hasn´t national colours and looks like some low cost airlines, damn really awful

Bring back the “OK” on the tail ! or is that my age showing 😮 It’s not too bad but i think they should have used the Czech flag in the design.
