As the Pets thread is now read only I have started this thread to post a picture of our dog. (as dumb as a stick though he is).
His name is Marley.

There is also a photo of a photo of a Mig-31 launching two R-33s.
It is from the November 1994 issue of Air International.
(I have just bought a cheap digital camera).

I should mention the photos of the R-77M and R-77PA are from the German journal “Military Technology” with both photos credited to Vympel. This issue was published in 1996.
The ramjet powered model was also being promoted as a surface launched weapon and is shown on a ground based launcher in the photo above. (not that unusual, AMRAAM has also been displayed in such a launcher too.)
Just got a Russian language book about SAMs and it includes the terminal effects of an Igla on a drone fighter (looks like a mig-15).

Never really been a dog person really…
He is also an older dog that was never house trained and was not treated well. (ie no walks and fed close to death… when we got him he was almost as wide as he was long.)
So there really is not much I can do with him apart from the occasional walk. He is not an inside dog.
He also likes to try to jump up and lick faces… everytime I see a dog owner let their dog lick their faces I want to puke… it is disgusting.
Of course his pointy face does make him look a little cute and he is so small he doesn’t cost much to feed and walks are walks for me and runs for him. (My sister has a large alsatian that drags her for walk/runs and it eats and sh!ts like a horse).
Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate all dogs, but I don’t really understand the attachment shown by many owners to their mutts.

Too funny Garry 🙂 Good dog pic. ( note: usually when a dog owner says something disparaging about their pet it really is just a cover. They are most likely quite attached to it 🙂 )
