There’s a “making of” which might help on the Land Rover website

yup, that new disco looks sleeker than my old landrover LWB 2/3 hybrid, 😀 if i may re-iterate my question does anyone know if its from an actual film or was the filming done just for the add?.

all the best.

The featured Ryan is a repro too

Interesting read on a construction made from plans.

It is interesting they say this is the only one flying. There is another being built, or there was a few years back, when Pancho Barnes’s daughter in law was having one built and having Pancho’s original restored.

The original is, apparently, now over here but I don’t know what happened to the replica.

You mean its in the UK Melv, who with?

The burning question in my mind is this, was that a proper film ‘set’ or was it all staged for the advert?. if there’s going to be a film with those 30’s aircraft in does anyone here know about it?.

all the best.

I provided this gen in another thread on the 19th Feb – if you look at post 5 in the attached you’ll find my link to a website about the replica probably involved:

It’s a Travelair Mysteryship replica.

Cheers
