So it does, in the caption for the third piccie. G-BRJF formerly of Air Europe in the UK before being transferred to Italy.

Kabir, the first statement means that if I were an airline, I would not want to use the registration number of a former aircraft that had crashed. The 2nd statement relates that to airline flight numbers that no longer get used, when those particular flights wind up crashing.

In the UK, registrations don’t get reassigned at all.

Very nice C/S indeed. Has anyone got a web site for this airline?

Hey Ren I think its a brand new 757, as I have just googled the reg No. N88AM — and N88AM is registered as a Piper PA-46-310Ps, which Crashed on 8/16/02, killing all 4 on board.

So the number looks as if that its been used again, this time on this 757.

http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/AccList.asp?month=9&year=2000 — 9th aircraft down on the list is the one that crashed back in 2002.
