Last Sunday (“August 12”) the “Sunday Express” featured a summary of a Royal Navy report on the disaster at Bluff Cove in June 1982. The paper said the the report was secret but had now been released under the Freedom of Information Act. The article was very brief and I didn’t see it covered by any other paper. Does anyone know where you can find the full report?
One interesting snippet – according to the article a decision was made not to site SAMS around the ships ” because they were unreliable!”. Not good news for the makers of Blowpipe and Rapier!
