Based
Which base has the short straw or will the keep it in the hangar and bring it out to board and on return after unloading put it back in the hangar.?
With one comment saying Pilots will only fly it with a paper bag over there head.
With the aircraft being green it should be based in a county airfield, but which one?
When the aircraft starts operating to European destination we hope there will be some feed back to hear if it is like in Europe,

It’s certainly eye-catching – I’m still undecided as to whether I like it or not though.

Hopfuly shut the tree huggers up for a while.
I doubt it somewhat…they will just say it is yet another aircraft in the skies, offering cheap flights, thus encouraging more people to fly, ultimatley destroying the environment!
I have two words for them…’shut up’!:D

Its just like the Honda F1 car really really awful!
Funnily enough, that’s the first thing that came to my mind! I’m going to reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh, i’m not sure yet.

Still I suppose it’s no worse than the Mansion 146 logojet.
Do you not think the Mansion 146 is smart? I do 🙂

The slogan is quite straightforward, it’s the the colourscheme I have a problem with! I think it’s the way the blue and green clash so perfectly!
Think of all the beautiful shades of green there are in nature (which is after all what it’s representing) and they choose that one.
Still I suppose it’s no worse than the Mansion 146 logojet.

It’s the bee in Be’s bonnet at the moment. We had a talk by Ian Cheese last month, FlyBe’s Turboprop General Manager, about their pilot recruitment. FlyBe are “a low fare airline but not low cost”. Ostensibly this means they do not scrimp on new aircraft or safety.

I think the livery itself does look quite good, but I would of had the engine parts painted in the same green colour as the tail, so that the website address could be put on there because there is nothing on there that I can see to attract people to use them…no phone no. or web address, so unless you are a regular flybe.com customer, how are people going to know what to do if they wanted to make a booking…?
I also agree that the slogan is rather confusing, but what I think they [Flybe] are trying to get across is that you can fly at low-cost in terms of the fares, but because of the environmental-friendliness of the aircraft (if there is such a thing…!) there is little cost to the impact that it has on the planet!
At least Flybe are making an effort to show their ‘green’ credentials (sp?) and obviously are taking the impact on the environment seriously!:D

Dear God!! Ive just been talking to a pilot for Flybe and he said he would be forced to wear a paper bag over his head if he ever flew this!
