Not amazing news I agree but this one caught my eye, mainly because it really messes with your eyes when you first look at it! Not an incredibly big fan of it but hey it would stand out if it visited your local ;).

See what I mean when you first look at it? 😀 :diablo:

Emirates comes top in my book for painting the underwing area red with a white logo, pure genius.
If I am honest I have no idea why it should, but that Emirates title on the underside REALLY bugs me.

As was stated earlier, the logo stands out, gets you noticedThe G/W aircraft made an emergency landing yesterday …
German newsreports this morning indicate probable cause as being bird ingestion

😎 😎
Suggests it doesn’t perhaps stand out as much as birds would like 😀

Germanwings emergency landing
As was stated earlier, the logo stands out, gets you noticed
The G/W aircraft made an emergency landing yesterday shortly after t/o at HAM, this being the HAM-LGW evening flight, saw it a couple of times flying around, presumably dumping fuel.

those schemes look hideous.

Not to sure about the scheme, but it gets noticed
Isn’t that the whole point, getting noticed? I think some people think all airlines should have a very creative scheme but, allbeit these examples are logojets, airlines want to make the biggest and brightest impact on the ground and at low altitudes so their brand gets recognised by the public.
For example easyJet did not pick orange because it would be creative, it was because it was bright and cheerful and would be instantly recognised given time. Same for Southwest and to an extent Ryanair.

Germanwings Hamburg logo
Here is another logo from Germanwings, introduced in the last 2 months. have flown in it between HAM and LGW a couple of times recently, also regularly seen it at other times so I presume it is based here in Hamburg. Not to sure about the scheme, but it gets noticed

I do like it because its different but wouldnt like to see it long term of over an entire fleet. It certainly is eye catching!

I love it but the engines need some colour aswell.
Ive stayed in the Park Inn hotel in Berlin and it really is top class.

Same colour scheme as the one that adorned our shuttle bus to the hotel at ZRH (a Park Inn amazingly enough…). Certainly eye catching.:D

I Love it! Differant from other logojet’s that are based around one colour!
Well done Germanwings/Park Inn Hotels! 😀
