Hey everybody Germanwings have unveiled a new logojet called Hamburg Shopper -ink below.

I have also posted 2 more 4U pictures as I have a question about them.
One if of an older aircraft, note the engines they are the same ones as most of the fleet has,not to sure what they are called. The second picture is of a new aircraft delivered straight from Airbus to 4U and it has different engines.
I know they are made by 2 different companies but I was wondering if anyone knew why Germanwings decided to fit different engines onto its new aircraft?

I also just noticed that the new aircraft is similar to the U2 models with the 2 overwings exits.

That’s not too bad – very colourful and reminds me of the Sky Europe livery!
Hopefully I’ll catch her on my flight to CGN in June!

Possibly because it is the engine of choice for 4U, the older Airbus is a former US Air one, bought from them, utilising the preferred engine of US Air, and they maybe state their own preference to Airbus for their purpose built aircraft.
