hey guys, new to the forum, this may have already been stated, but I didn’t find it the last couple of thread pages, so I thought Id put it up for ya…

“The gripen Demo and NG (next generation) projects are at the heart of Saab’s Gripen N(Norway) and IN (India) proposals. These two competitions are of seismic importance: India, because of the scale of its projected buy, and Norway because it might become the first JSF partner nation to reject Lockheed Martin’s F-35.”

New AESA radar, F414-GE-400 engine (same as super hornet) system hardware that Saab describes as “two generations ahead of the state-of-the-art.” seems like a pretty bad ass new Gripen to me
