A memorial was dedicated in Bishop Monkton village , near Ripon this week to the crew of Halifax V, EB203, which crashed there in April 1944. The crew,from the Heavy Conversion Unit at nearby Dishforth consisted of 4 Canadians, 2 Americans and 1 Englishman. It’s good to see that some still care.

How do you go about commisioning memorials to aircrew? Is it a long winded process and what are the costs (obviously depending on what kind of memorial you want)?
