Hi everyone some months back I put a thread on here about a new book I was writing on Hertfordshires aviation history from balloons to Zeppelins to the end of World War Two. Well it took me 30 years to research all this, but I do have some superb eye-witness accounts to such that are sadly no longer available, the book is finally due out on 4th July 2007. I have also had access to crew members family albums so have many choice unpublished photographs. I did not want to write a re-hash (although Herts aviation history has not really been covered before, but some aspects are quite well known) so I have been selective in content, preferring to use unique texts and illustrations. I have seen a PDF file of the draft book and the publishers have made a really fine job of this.
