There’s another attempt to get lottery funding for the restoration of Bluebird K7, raised from Coniston water. I hope they do get the money, it would be a fantastic memorial to Campbell to have his boat in pristine condition

I know they say the ship should stay with the captain – but someone was determined to raise Bluebird, and they did.
I just hope she can be looked after in a fitting exhibition, and that the money can come from lottery funding.
I hope Gina isn’t forced to put Bluebird on ebay – the only thing I could hope from that would be someone would pay a cracking price for it – then give it back!

An emotive subject but I’d like to see Bluebird K7 in all her finery.
