Guys,
I need your advice as I am new to all of this.
I have been looking at buying a new lens for my D3000. Looking around there seems to be the 70 – 300mm lens for low cost.
The two that I have been looking at are :-
TAMRON AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD MACRO 1:2 Lens
SIGMA 70-300 mm F4-5.6 DG Macro Motorised Tele-zoom Lens
Can anyone tell me are these suitable for aviation and sports photograpy??
The bit that confuses me is that they say they are macro lenses but my understanding of macro was a static image. Maybe I have got this wrong but like I said I am new to all of this.
All comments appreiciated.
Thanks

Both lenses will indeed be perfectly suitable for shooting aviation and sports. 🙂

Even though they say macro, they aren’t really 100% macro lenses they are actually tele-photo lenses but you can take shots using macro at only 200-300mm, so i have read.
