Good point, but whats the green glow then- kind of what we have when AH1’s fire their Zuni’s. I thought that was the rocket backblast…

Maybe they don’t look rocket’ish to you, but those are the ignition bursts of 57mm rockets. There is plenty of imagery and footage around of 57mm rocket launches by aircraft (i think even some of IAF Su-7s), they have a large burst of flames when leaving the pod.

True, I had a brain freeze. But the long flame flickering near the jet pipe doesnt seem too rocket’ish ?
