Well, its not what I had hope. But the Budget was tight, as was time.
I present to you, Bahamasair’s new “livery”

I really like the tail – very modern and innovative – and the titling, but I do feel that the tail design somehow needs replicating either on the fuselage or engine cowlings to bring the livery together.

i think you got pretty much the best out of a tight budget
By: Bmused55 - 27th July 2004 at 17:12
I like it, and I certainly think you’ve made the absolute best out of the tight budget that you say was available to you.
When will we be able to see it on the Dash? 🙂
If I only I knew. None of the Dash8’s are due for maintenance yet. So quite a while yet I feel

i think that its a good livery but more colour and a design along the fuselage would have been better.

I think that as the others have said, it is quite a nice livery judging by what seems like a ridiculously small budget. Some kind of cheatline along the bottom of the windows, with the titles above, may have made the plain white stand out a bit less. But a budget is a budget, and if the airline aren’t willing to give anymore then you cant possibly give them any more back.

Thank you for the honest opinions guys.
It will help. I’m flying over there on September 10th to talk some sense to them

Personaly, I’m disapointed. A slightly more colourful livery would have done wonders for them. I argued the point with then… but the pen pushers didn’t want to listen.
I will be collecting all the data I can on the reaction of this livery so I can present it to them when I’m over there. So please people… honest opinions!
I was kidding , I don’t like it too much.

I think any new livery looks dated on a 732 to be honest, so I’m not exactly jumping for joy seeing this one. That’s not to say I wouldn’t like it on a more modern liner. It’s basic as you say but it’s contemporary and would therefore suit a contemporary plane.
I like the tail design, the logo and the fact you used colour on the engine cowlings. I agree more colour would be better, but that’s accountants for you. Obviously this livery could be quickly applied (or removed) without too much expense, which is the name of the game these days.
Have you got any samples of it on another plane Sandy ? Well done none the less.

Hmm… the budget must have been very tight to produce such a plain livery.
I still think you did an excellent job though, at least you have tried to make it interesting.
Well done 🙂

Well , if everyone likes it , I will not say what I’m thinking .. 😀

Fits perfectly on the 737. A simple paint, much white. I like it. Never heard of this airline, what else do they operate, and what destinations?
in the bahamas would you beleive
They connect Florida with Nassau and operate a bunch of Dash8 300’s on intra island routes connecting all tha Bahamian islands together.
I’m glad you like the scheme. 😀
