New longhaul airline in Spain

Air Madrid, a new longhaul airline in Spain, will start operations in May using two A330 and serving touristical destinations mainly in South America (Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, Cuba, Brasil…) with plans to the Far East and some Africa destinations. The main feature is that it will be in a low cost basis. Interesting but risking adventure.

Why does the URL www.airmadrid.com not work? And I don’t seem to be able to get much info about them. Stange for a new airline.

Bullfighting is not a sport but a shame for the country. Well, i don´t what´s a “traditional Spanish livery”…..I suppose you mean Iberia, colourfull livery. Looks like Spanair to me, and even Air Europa colours resamble a bit. I know it will be a success. I know it´s CEO and he´s a capable person. Despite this fact, it´s hard to reduce costs in the longhaul sector.

Before I saw the posted comments in favour, I thought it looked like a smart livery. Its not often a livery hits you like that.

Hope you dont mind Keltic, but i just wanted to bring attention to another long-haul airline in Southern France and their new website.

www.ocean-airways.com

Both, although ocean airways to a greater extent, have a euro-white c/s…kinda sad:( But hey lets hope they do well.

You’d never see that on a Catalan airline.

I dont think its good news at all. I dont want low-cost long haul to dominate the market as well as low-cost short hall. However, as many of you have said before, its very impracticable to have a low cost long haul airline. If this does well maybe there will be many many more???

That livery looks fantastic on the A330! Good luck to them.
