New MiG 1.44 Photos

I just found these photos in the centrespread of the Russian magazine ‘Aviatsiya i Kosmonavtika’ – issue 10.2003.

There is no accompanying text or explanation – just four photos and a huge centrespread that is too large to scan.

I assume they are genuine – and not photoshopped….

Note that it now sports a white/blue/red stripe on the fin, is numbered 144 and has the logo of the ‘Saturn’ engine manufacturer on the rear engine nacelles.

This photo has the canopy closed with a pilot aboard – I asume the engines are running to power the canards…
