We also have a project for a significant further modernisation of the MiG-29 fighter. The main goal of this project is to offer customers a next-generation aircraft with new onboard equipment, stealth characteristics and thrust vector control engines- but with the same approximate price tag and airframe size. We expect to have this aircraft with a range and combat payload close to that of the Su-27/30-series fighters ready for large scale production by 2007.
