New Model.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-12-02 AT 05:08 PM (GMT)]I brought a new model today from my local ModelZone shop, of an Austrain Airlines A321, in the special Millenium c/s, which features faces of famous Austrians plastered all over the sides.

Its an airfix model so I will have to build it myself. The last time I built this type of model was a few years ago, building a 1:44 scale Concorde — what a disaster! 😛

I have to build it, oput the c/s on it (all those heads!!!) and paint it. Wish me better luck this time.

Have any of you ever built any commercial model aircraft? If so what was the result like?

And this Delta Tristar, N728DA “Delta Belle” The final Tristar to operate for Delta. On it’s final flight in 2001, Delta threw a retirement party and let their staff sign the plane engine cowlings and fuselage with marker pens to see it off to it’s new home in desert storage.

All excellent models guys. I really like the Aeroflot 767, and the Easyjet A319. I’ll try and get one or two pics of some of mine later. I don’t have any geminijet’s at the moment, but I have a couple of starjets 1:200, and a few dragon wings. Also about 60 snap fits!:D

I tried to get a British Airways 707 by Corgi off of ebay. I was winning for about 24 hours and thought I was sure to win.

With seconds to go, someone outbid me. Fortunately, there was sufficient time to react, but he done it again! 🙁
