A quick update on why we haven’t made much progress on the “Biggles Biplane” BE-2 for the last few months. We’ve had a few distractions, as last few weeks have seen three build/refettling projects reach completion at Sywell.
G-FOKK, Paul and Sarah Ford’s Fokker Triplane replica has now completed its initial flight test programme in Matt Boddington’s hands and is set to be joined by at least three other triplanes at the Sywell Air Show in August.
The show could see the biggest formation of Triplanes in Europe since the Armistice. Don’t miss it! http://www.sywellairshow.co.uk/displays.php

….and last Thursday, despite TT’s firm belief that “it will never fly” – FRED G-BMSL got the air under its wheels for the first time after being stored for a number of years.

And today, G-ACDC, the oldest DH-82A Tiger Moth currently flying, emerged from a complete rebuild for a flawless first flight. Lovely!
