New P-51 B Model in US !

Former USAAF 357th FG 16 victory ace Col Bud Anderson with a new project in the USA, a P-51 B model under restoration. Wish it as a “BlueNoser” project. But heck any new P-51 rebuild is a wonderful bit of news any time of day !

Enjoy the link & photos !

It’s great to see such a rare Malcolm hood P-51 project. It will be a joy to see this variant back in the sky! 🙂

Stunning news!

I dropped an e-mail to the website author, and he’s corrected both the name errors overnight.

Credit where due.

Someone writing the website must have a cold: “malcomb hood” as well.

I’ll drop the owner an e-mail.

This is essentially a data-plate restoration based upon a few bits of bent and corroded aluminium pulled out of a lake in Florida. It will be a beautiful aeroplane when it’s done though.

Cheers,
Richard
