Today, in the Historic Aviation forum , 11 new posts were indicated but I counted to 27 …

It’s a mess. The indicated number of new posts never match the actual number of new posts found in the forum.
A few moments ago, I visited the Historic Aviation forum. The indicator said 6 new posts. I opened and closed all threads with a new post to “reset” the count. I closed the whole thing and reopened. Now, the indicator says 8 new posts but there are none.
(Maybe they are hiding somewhere on older pages but why a higher number after “resetting” a few threads with new posts?)
