I get the feeling that this is one you wont even find at LHR.
Taken from the EMA website.
Specialist tour operator, The Gambia Experience will offer flights from Nottingham East Midlands Airport for Winter 2005/06 – the first time flights to the West African country have been available from the Midlands.
The daytime flights will operate every Friday during the winter season, November to April, with Astraeus Airlines.

Haven’t operated this winter – first year they were operated by First Choice on the 757 via BRS, second year by Astraeus on the 737 again via BRS.
The 1hr to BRS and the 1hr at BRS meant anyone getting on in GLA had roughly an 8hr trip to get to BJL.

Do the GLA services still operate? I thought it stopped after last winter due low bookings (useless info…it routed via BRS).

Sorry – I called it longhaul, I assumed the flight was much longer than what it was 😉
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not having a go at you Tom 😉
I think even NEMA are calling it a new long haul flight as well and it really isn’t long haul. lol!!
