Got a new scanner, thanks to those nice people at PC world who exchanged my old troublesome one 11 months after i bought it, the problem appears to be PC related as the new one(an HP this time) has already developed the same problem !.However it does seem to recover quicker and I have been busy trying it out with some old material.

I have not bothered too much with the file size and res for these Jpegs, so they could look better than this. I have scanned them all at full res for archive purposes, just quickly reduced them for this.
