Well we had an absolutely brilliant day! The weather wasnt great but broke in time for Peter in his superb Spitfire PR.XI who treated us to a wonderful display – then later on James arrived in his ME108 (I don’t have his contact details but if anyone knows him please do pass on our sincere thanks!)
People were queuing to get in it was chocca!
Anyway hopefully DB might stick some of his lovely pics up meantime herewith some of the new American Hall, together with the POW/Luftwaffe display.
The boards are the original mission boards from the 79th FS, 20th FG from RAF Kings Cliffe….there are six all 4ft square listing all missions, kill tallies etc and are ultra rare. This is the first time they have ever been on Public display and make for fascinating reading.

We are now open every weekend and bank holiday until the end of September – don’t forget the Sywell Airshow on the 19th August – info at http://www.sywellaerodrome.co.uk

Hats off guys – that is a stunning museum – inspiring to us who are trying to do something along the same lines.
Can’t wait to see it!
Would have loved to have made the opening – keep up the good work.
Cheers
